Our class went to the Chattanooga State printing facility to see our work for the Take Root project being printed. The trip proved to be very informative. It was nice to see a smaller print shop to compare it to the larger ones that we have previously visitied and to see what types of jobs different places can produce. During our visit we were able to see our note cards being printed, brochures being scored and folded, Pantone ink being mixed, as well as the machinery and processes for doing all of these things. The people were very friendly, I learned a lot about printing, and our Brochures, notecards, etc. turned out great!
