first attempt at a web page.
Our first big project in my Web Media class was to create a web site using the contents of any 6-sided package. I chose a FruitaBu Organic Fruit Twirls package because, although the content was not particularly important, I wanted the style of my pages to fit the content and to have an overall fun and playful feel. We began the project by marking up the contents of our box for HTML (h1, ul, p, etc.). This was turned out to be the easiest part for me. Writing the CSS for the pages took awhile and included a lot of trouble-shooting, but it truly was a great learning experience. I went from having very little knowledge of the subject to knowing a good deal about the basics of creating a (simple) web page. I was quite proud of myself for having the patience to figure out problems I ran into on my own. Actually, I think I may kind of enjoy this stuff!
