yay for leslie!

One of my design professors, Leslie Jensen-Inman, has a recent article featured on A List Apart. Leslie has very good ideas about the current state of web education and how this can be improved. Having taken a web course taught by Leslie and continuing on to work in the production department of a firm that specializes in web design (Coptix), I can attest to the fact that, when it comes to teaching for the web, Leslie knows her stuff. Once I started my internship, I realized just how prepared I was after just a five-week intro course. I can understand how teaching this subject has its challenges, since the technology is constantly changing. Being able to learn web design, and learn it well is important considering it is quickly becoming our main source of information, entertainment, communication; just about everything. As a student, I can say that good teaching goes a long way and I hope that more and more students can have a similar experience as I did when it comes to learning web design.
